Sara and I grieve over the passing of our dear friend, Abe Foxman, and convey our deepest condolences to his wife, Golda, and the entire Foxman family.
Abe was a stalwart defender of the Jewish state and the Jewish people. As head of the ADL and in many other capacities he resolutely fought against the scourge of anti-Semitism unapologetically wherever it appeared.
He was a wise and courageous champion of the Israeli-American alliance.
Over the many years of our friendship, I valued from his advice and penetrating insights.
I will sorely miss him.
May his memory be a blessing.
