DeFi operates on the premise that positions are liquid, but illiquidity is baked into smart contracts everywhere. LST withdrawals, vault redemption delays, async deposits... By creating mechanisms that turn illiquid positions into liquid ones, we unlock an entirely new design space. @offerijns and I have proposed an extension to the ERC-7540 spec that serves as the foundation for making pending deposits and redemptions transferable and composable.
