“it’s taking the time to anticipate, to simulate, to consider how other people might feel. we call it taste in the end, but it’s just hard work.”
taste is intentionality refined by sensitivity to details. it’s the ability to notice what most people walk past.
that’s why the best dining experiences aren’t defined by a single dish, but by a thousand invisible decisions. the choreography, the pacing, the silence between courses. nothing feels accidental.
true taste comes from seeing enough to recognize the difference, and caring enough to preserve it. you can feel it immediately, even if it’s almost impossible to articulate.
