As the father of three zoomer young men, I am very sympathetic to the concerns about affordability.
But the talk about burritos etc. is mostly misplaced.
What's gotten prohibitively expensive in recent decades is healthcare, education, and housing, not coincidentally three industries with
(1) Overwhelming amounts of government intervention.
(2) Huge distortionary effects from high levels of immigration.
Stop mass immigration and reduce government meddling in the economy, and young men will be able to afford all of the burritos (or burgers) they want to eat.
