SemiVision 🇹🇼 👁️👁️(@semivision_tw):🔵 #Corning Incorporated ’s Multicore Fiber (MCF) is impressive. The physical comparison at the booth makes the advantage very clear: the yellow cable represents the conventional single-core fiber bundle, while the green cable represents the multicore fiber solution. You can immediately see how much space MCF can save while supporting comparable fiber capacity — smaller footprint, lower cable volume, and potentially lower overall weight. As AI data centers scale, fiber density is becoming increasingly important. More bandwidth needs to fit into increasingly constrained rack and cable-routing space. More optical capacity, less physical footprint. $GLW
