According to UKMTO, all crew members are safe and accounted for, and no environmental impact has been reported. The incident appears to be separate from, and occurred earlier than, today's reported attack on a Kuwaiti tanker in the same general area. Attribution and the circumstances surrounding the earlier incident remain under investigation.
