0 is the coldest it ever gets, 100 is the hottest it ever gets (mod extremes but a good developed world approximation)

still wild to me that the entire world decided water freezes at 0 degrees and boils at 100 degrees, and the US was like "nah, 32 degrees and 212 degrees makes much more sense"
