A recent Stanford study found that a majority of workers are in favor of AI automation that frees up their time for higher-value work.
47% also said that they support the use of AI to reduce task repetitiveness and that they would use AI to improve the quality of their work.
To conduct the study, the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI and the Digital Economy Lab surveyed 1,500 workers to discern where AI agents could benefit work, and interviewed 52 AI experts to better understand the technology’s current abilities.
