BIG | 🇮🇷🇺🇸‼️ Iran has offered to reopen the Strait of Hormuz for seven days if Washington takes initial steps toward easing military pressure, Japan’s Kyodo News reports, citing Iranian officials.
🔹 The proposal was reportedly delivered to the Trump administration through intermediaries and calls on the United States to resume negotiations aimed at reaching a permanent end to hostilities.
An Iranian official said an agreement with Washington remains possible, but ruled out a meeting between Presidents Donald Trump and Masoud Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. The proposal suggests Tehran is keeping a diplomatic path open while attempting to link freedom of navigation through Hormuz to broader negotiations over military de-escalation.
