The deal brings World Labs’ model research directly inside AMD as it pushes deeper into reasoning, robotics, simulation and physical AI. Fei-Fei Li will join AMD as EVP and Chief Scientist, reporting directly to Lisa Su. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2026.
