Fidelity International, which has USD1.18 trillion of assets under management, reportedly plans to exit its wholly owned public fund management business in China, just three years after launching the unit, amid fierce local competition and difficulties in building scale. FIL's departure would make it one of the biggest global fund managers to pull out of China.
