CEO Simon Gerovich (@gerovich) confirmed the development on X: "Metaplanet will acquire a controlling interest in Super League Enterprise (Nasdaq: SLE). At closing, the company will change its name to Superplanet, Inc. (Superplanet) and will be consolidated as the U.S. Bitcoin treasury platform of our group, which we are launching with a contribution of 2,100 BTC from our company." This move infuses the new entity with 2,100 $BTC from Metaplanet's treasury, giving it a direct foothold in the world's deepest capital markets before its planned close by Q4 2026. With the "two engines" model, it can generate funds in both Japan and the United States to finance the same $BTC treasury position.
