The higher rate starts October 1 and lasts until December 1. Around 27.3 million ethereum:0x455e53cbb86018ac2b8092fdcd39d8444affc3f6 in accumulated priority fees will fund the rewards. The tokens were already collected by the network, so no new supply was created. Rewards will still depend on validator commissions and staking participation.
