Iranian security chief Mohsen Rezaee said Tehran will not remove any enriched uranium from the country and will not resume negotiations with the U.S. until Washington satisfies Iran’s conditions. “Not a single gram of enriched uranium will be removed from Iran,” Rezaee said, adding that negotiations would not restart until the U.S. takes steps to rebuild trust. Rezaee said that process must begin with the “full fulfillment” of Iran’s conditions, though he did not detail them in his latest statement. Iran previously outlined seven conditions for renewed negotiations and reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Rezaee said earlier that Washington had accepted some of the demands but that its response remained inadequate. The conditions reportedly include lifting the U.S. blockade on Iranian ports, removing sanctions on Iranian oil exports and ending hostilities across multiple regional fronts. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian reinforced that position during meetings with Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, calling on President Donald Trump to lift sanctions, remove pressure and end threats against Iran before negotiations resume. The dispute leaves Iran’s nuclear program at the center of the broader standoff. Tehran is signaling that enriched uranium will remain inside the country unless Washington makes substantial concessions first. The U.S., meanwhile, continues applying economic pressure through Treasury sanctions and its “Operation Economic Outcast” campaign targeting Iranian oil, shipping and financial networks.
