🚒 CAL FIRE continues to aid in firefighting efforts beyond California. Through our State-to-State Mutual Aid Agreement, CAL FIRE has deployed more than 100 ground personnel to Nevada to support firefighting efforts on the Hawk Fire. 🔥 Additionally, CAL FIRE provided four night-vision helicopters, which have delivered more than 200,000 gallons of water throughout the incident. CAL FIRE’s McClellan Airtanker Reload Base also served as a refueling station for several large and very large airtankers supporting firefighting operations. As of this morning, the Hawk fire has burned approximately 15,000 acres and remains 0% contained.
