The Massachusetts woman on trial for killing her three children, 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson, and 8-month-old Callan in January 2023, appeared to weep during the opening statements of her trial on Monday.
Lindsay Clancy, who claims she heard a male voice tell her that "she had to kill the kids so that she could kill herself," has pleaded not guilty.
Plymouth County Assistant District Attorney, Shanan Buckingham, argued that Clancy was not "in the throes of psychosis" on the day she killed her children, but a woman who "acted intentionally."
