The China-developed 3,300-lane-meter high-performance clean-energy Ro-Ro vessel SKIPANES was recently put into operation in Yantai, east China's Shandong Province.
With an overall length of 189.5 meters, a molded breadth of 27.2 meters, a designed draft of 6 meters and service speed of 18 knots, the vessel is built for the challenging North Atlantic operating environment and extreme weather.
Fitted with methanol-ready specifications, it also incorporates a battery system and shore connection capability, achieving an optimal balance between operational efficiency and low-carbon performance.
