Wildfire smoke is blanketing America's cities.
Climate change is the common scapegoat—but the real reason is negligence.
Both Canada and the U.S. know how to make fires smaller and less severe. The question is how many more suffocating summers it will take before their governments figure out that managing forests is better and cheaper than watching them burn.
