The remaining 622,000 EchoStar customers simply don't know that Starlink exists, as they are still waiting for the webpage to load.
US satellite internet provider Hughesnet has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy after running low on cash and losing subscribers to @Starlink.
In a quarterly report today, EchoStar also noted that its broadband subscribers had fallen to 622,000, a loss of 59,000 during Q2. โWe continue to experience increased competition from satellite-based competitors and other technologies," it said.
