U.S. SAUDI OIL IMPORTS FALL TO ZERO U.S. imports of Saudi crude fell to zero in July for the first full month since 1985, as Gulf supply disruptions forced refiners to find alternatives. U.S. refiners cut Middle East purchases amid the Hormuz conflict, with Venezuela emerging as a key replacement, boosting exports to the U.S. to around 600,000 bpd. Saudi crude imports are expected to rebound to about 300,000 bpd this month, according to Kpler.
