The ANC needs South Africans poor and uneducated. That's the only way they stay relevant. They've built their entire strategy on promising freebies and race-baiting the electorate with vague promises of financial and economic freedom that never materialize. BBBEE's racially-based economic regulations only stay popular among a politically and economically illiterate electorate. Cadre deployment only survives among citizens who don't understand how national systems actually run. Expropriation Without Compensation only sells to desperate people who'll walk off a cliff because a politician told them it's safe. The ANC should be irrelevant by now, unpopular purely from the decay they've imposed on South Africa. But the information gap is working in their favor.
