Open source is how AI moves forward. The question is how to measure contribution and bring more developers in. At ETHShanghai 2026, our APAC Lead @0xLaughing joined Heyang Zhou and Ian Xu for a panel on open-source collaboration and AI: โ–ท Open-source contribution needs better ways to measure and reward lasting value. Code commits alone are not enough. โ–ท Tools, documentation, and ecosystem applications give more developers practical entry points into AI. โ–ท For frequent, low-value API calls and service payments between agents, programmable payment rules can set permissions, per-payment limits, and total budgets. The takeaway: AI needs more than capable models. It needs open collaboration, measurable contribution, and clear constraints for agents operating in the real economy. The event also featured Ethereum co-founder @VitalikButerin, Dr. Xiao Feng (Vice Chairman of Wanxiang Holdings and Chairman of @WXblockchain), and builders from @AntGroup, @Conflux_Network, @allscaleio, @fenbushi, @IOSGVC and @waterdripfund. Thank you to @EthereumSH, @ETHPanda_Org, @PANewsCN, and The Excited Few for bringing builders together. ๐Ÿช

What kind of infrastructure should Ethereum become in the age of AI? @GoKiteAI is proud to join ETHShanghai 2026 @EthereumSH as an official partner. Weโ€™ll be in Shanghai on September 22, connecting with builders exploring Ethereumโ€™s next chapter. Under the theme Ethereum Renaissance, the conference returns to Ethereumโ€™s foundations and looks ahead to: โ–ท AI ร— Web3, and the role of agents in open, verifiable infrastructure โ–ท Identity, privacy, security, and individual sovereignty in an AI-shaped internet โ–ท Stablecoins, tokenized assets, prediction markets, and the next generation of onchain economies As AI agents move from information tools to economic actors, identity, authorization, and payments become core infrastructure. We look forward to exploring what this means for the agent economy together. Join ETHShanghai 2026: See you in Shanghai. ๐Ÿช
