Oil traders are so accustomed to TACO that anytime they see a pre-announced news announcement coming like the one we are going to see from Bessent on Monday, they immediately think, here comes another TACO.
Then you have Pakistan in the fold again possibly leaking another fake deal headline and people are just paranoid.
