FUTURECORE ACQUISITION FILES FOR $75M SPAC IPO
FutureCore Acquisition Corp. has filed to raise $75M through an IPO of 7.5M units priced at $10 each.
Each unit will include one ordinary share, a right to receive one-quarter of a share upon completion of a business combination, and one warrant exercisable at $11.50 per share.
The SPAC plans to list its units on Nasdaq under $FTCRU, with the shares, rights and warrants expected to trade separately later under $FTCR, $FTCRR and $FTCRW.
FutureCore has not identified a specific acquisition target and says its search will not be limited to any particular industry or geography. It will have 15 months after the IPO closes to complete a business combination.
The underwriter also has an option to purchase up to an additional 1.125M units, which could increase the offering to $86.25M. Polaris Advisory Partners is serving as sole book-running manager.
