A 24-year-old woman became stranded near the river’s flow area along the Neelkanth Road in Rishikesh on Saturday.
SDRF personnel reached the spot and carried out a rope rescue after finding her unable to climb back safely.
The woman, identified as Vidisha from Hisar, Haryana, was rescued safely and handed over to the local police.
