In an exclusive interview with @PreetiChoudhry, former Election Commissioner @AshokLavasa said Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) must have the legal authority and access to modify electoral rolls according to law. He said a centralised database can be useful, but EROs should not have to depend on another authority to implement their decisions.
