Officer Christopher DeLong, 29.
Wife. Two young kids.
He responded to a domestic call. Woman had a restraining order. Suspect was destroying her house.
They found him at a park. Gunfight.
DeLong is dead.
Officer David Dymock is wounded.
Suspect Adam Dowdy — rap sheet in FOUR STATES — is dead.
A restraining order didn’t stop him.
A 29-year-old cop did.
This is the job. This is the cost.
