Today’s random geo strategy thesis: What if Trump is actually playing some sort of 4D chess that uses the precarious disaster in Iran to achieve his goals with Russia? He just forced the G7 to release more strategic oil reserves in exchange for lower diesel prices (no export ban for US diesel), which pushes Europe further towards the brink. What if… Trump wanted peace in Ukraine, but the EU “leaders” derailed him - and now he is preparing a strategic oil squeeze? Iran is very likely not be resolved anytime soon, and Iran can / will create more supply problems. Once the reserve run out, all of Europe will be forced to strike a deal with Russia or face literal economic implosion. If this winter the self-made and now Trump accelerated energy crisis hits the fan, it will be a massive shock to Germany, France and the rest - governments will be toppled - and the games in Ukraine is over.
