This year has been the most exhausting of my career. It’s a great sign for Artie.
In 2024, roadmap planning was
@robin_codes, our founding engineer Dana, and me asking each other what we should build next. Nobody was asking us for anything. Engineering backlog was nonexistent, and it was depressing at times.
This year, we barely have time to ask what to build next. Customer requests are so overwhelming that can we no longer deliver on new features in a few days time. Most of our roadmap now comes from teams running Artie in production, and balancing between customer requests and building towards our vision is a constant balancing act.
You'd think I would complain about being so exhausted all the time, but I wake up everyday grateful we're in this position now. The alternative is way more stressful.
