Just found one of the weirdest proposed laws ever
In the 1890s, a group of anti-automobile activists in Pennsylvania sponsored a law to help protect horses from vehicle traffic
The proposed law said that car drivers who encounter a horse must stop, pull over, and cover the car with a blanket that blends into the scenery.
If the horse is still spooked, the driver must disassemble the vehicle and hide the parts in the bushes.
The bill did not pass.
