The top diplomats of the members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrein, Qatar and Oman) are weighing a face-to-face meeting with their Iranian counterpart next week to discuss the Strait of Hormuz. The last GCC-Iran meeting took place in 2024.
