In Loving Memory Today we pause to remember three bright little girls whose lives were taken far too soon at a children’s dance class in Southport on this day in 2024. Bebe King, aged 6 Elsie Dot Stancombe, aged 7 Alice da Silva Aguiar, aged 9 They were simply being children; dancing, laughing, making friendship bracelets, full of the joy and energy that only little girls can bring to a room. We also hold in our hearts the other children who were hurt that day, the adults who tried to protect them, and every family, friend, classmate, teacher, and neighbour whose world was forever changed. The pain of that loss still echoes through Southport and far beyond. May Bebe, Elsie, and Alice be remembered not for the darkness of that day, but for the light they carried: their smiles, their kindness, their love of dancing, and the pure happiness they gave to everyone who knew them.
