I spoke with Prime Minister of Moldova Vasile Tofan and thanked him for the new Government's steadfast support for Ukraine. Our countries share the same strategic goal of full membership in the European Union, and we will continue moving toward it together through close cooperation and mutual support. We discussed joint infrastructure projects and agreed to work on practical, mutually beneficial solutions to streamline border procedures, making crossings faster and more convenient for both people and businesses. We also focused on expanding economic cooperation. I proposed restoring the work of the Ukraine-Moldova Intergovernmental Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation to unlock new opportunities for trade and investment between our countries. I also invited Prime Minister Tofan to visit Ukraine. I look forward to strengthening our partnership and advancing the shared priorities that bring our countries closer to a common European future.
