In eight regions and Kyiv, efforts are under way to deal with the aftermath of Russia’s overnight attack. In Sumy region, Russian drones struck the locomotive pulling the Kyiv–Sumy train. Nearly 100 people were evacuated by bus. In Kharkiv, a drone hit a multi-storey residential building, injuring two people. In Odesa region, a civilian market was hit. Damage has also been reported in Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Two people were killed in the capital, and 10 others are known to have been injured so far. Residential buildings were damaged, with fires and destruction reported across five districts.
