LACoFD(@LACOFD):The #LACoFD international USAR team, known as USA-2, has been activated by the @StateDept to respond to Venezuela in the wake of the earthquakes that hit the country’s center. The USA-2 team departed this evening. USA-2 is comprised of 71 members, 6 canine teams & includes 84,000 pounds of equipment. USA-2 joins the @VATF1 to provide search, rescue & recovery assistance. Our thoughts are with all those impacted by these devastating earthquakes & we wish all the responding first responders safe travels as they assist during this time of great need.
