We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to improve Revenue Sharing and fix the incentives it created. The top earners today look very different from when we first ran this experiment — and that’s a good thing.
For a long time, the program rewarded quantity more than originality. That created a cycle where aggregators and unoriginal content could outperform creators who were actually contributing something new to the platform.
Ultimately, our goal is simple: reward the people who create content that makes X worth opening every day. We’re not done yet, but we’re getting closer.
