Data centers, networking, security, sensors. Where AI money actually went this week. This week's biggest rounds on Industry News with @sophiadew: • @CrusoeAI raised more than $3B at a ~$30B valuation, off the back of a reported five-year, ~$13B cloud contract with Jane Street • @fluidstack quietly raised $1.5B above an $18B valuation, up from $7.5B earlier this year, and is building the facilities where @AnthropicAI's 1M Google TPUs will run • @gimletlabs raised a $300M Series B at $3B, five months after its $80M Series A, for a "multi silicon cloud" it says makes AI workloads 5-10x faster at the same power footprint • @wonderful_ai raised $550M at $5B, more than double its March price, plus a reported $170M secondary for employees and early investors - 650 people, 35+ markets, 100+ enterprise customers, roughly 70x its estimated revenue run rate • Upwind is closing ~$300M at ~$3.8B, up from $1.5B in January, for runtime cloud security that shows which vulnerabilities an attacker can actually reach - priced off Google's $32B Wiz deal • @iPronics raised $125M with @nvidia joining, building optical switches that reroute a data center network around failed chips and shrink the gear about 20x • Lyte raised $165M at $1.6B for the perception stack robots use to read depth, motion and distance, already shipping into logistics, manufacturing and inspection
