🇺🇦🇺🇸 The U.S. Army is already killing off its Ukraine-inspired drone battalion. The 600-soldier unit was created just this January to test drones, ground robots and new ways of fighting. Now, after one final exercise in Germany, it’s going back to regular airborne infantry. And some military experts think that’s a pretty bad call. Ukraine has basically rewritten modern warfare with cheap drones, electronic warfare and robots. Walking away from a unit built specifically to learn from that has people scratching their heads. Especially because the Pentagon itself is still betting big on drones, with Pete Hegseth backing a $1.1 billion push. So drones aren’t going anywhere.
