🇱🇧 🇮🇱 Hezbollah's leader is calling for the collapse of the deal his own government signed Naim Qassem told Al-Manar that the framework agreement is illegitimate, unlawful, humiliating and destructive to Lebanese sovereignty, that his group rejects the pilot zones and any verification system attached to them, and that Hezbollah will not surrender. Lebanon and Israel signed that framework in late June under American sponsorship, covering Hezbollah's disarmament, a phased Israeli withdrawal from the south and the deployment of the Lebanese army. More than 4,300 people have been killed since Hezbollah entered the war on March 2. Israel has just bombed the Ali al-Taher ridge for several straight days and pushed into villages around Nabatieh.
