Mario Nawfal(@MarioNawfal):🇮🇪 Broad daylight on Dublin’s O’Connell Street, and suddenly two men are on the pavement covered in blood. Ireland’s police rushed in and started treating them right there on the street. One man was taken to hospital after being stabbed, but thankfully his injuries aren’t life-threatening. A man in his 40s was arrested at the scene. In Ireland, knife attacks make up only around 5% of serious assaults, and most happen inside homes, not out on the street. So seeing something like this in broad daylight on Dublin’s main street is still pretty unusual. Writer: Daniyal
