Before you make a Grok Bot your Primary Bot, define exactly what “proactive” means.
Otherwise you’re giving it more initiative without defining the boundaries.
I’d set these 7 rules:
1 - What it is allowed to notice
2 - What it is allowed to suggest
3 - What work it can start without asking
4 - What actions still require approval
5 - When it should hand work to a specialist Bot
6 - What should interrupt you vs wait for a digest
7 - How you’ll review whether its proactive behaviour is actually useful
And one important clarification:
You don’t need to replace your existing Chief of Staff.
If that Bot already coordinates your team, you can make it your Primary Bot.
The real upgrade isn’t choosing a Primary Bot.
It’s defining exactly how proactive you want that Bot to be.
