June 15, 2023, Ohio. He shot his sons, ages 3, 4, and 7, wounded their mother, pleaded guilty, and received three consecutive life sentences.
He told police about โbad thoughtsโ and needing help. Asked if heโd struggled with mental illness, he said, โI donโt know.โ The defense raised insanity. Experts said he still knew it was wrong.
