NYC Sanitation(@NYCSanitation):Tomorrow, September 11, join us at 2 pm, following the Ground Zero ceremony, for our annual Reading of the Names, remembering those members of the Strongest who have died of 9/11-related illnesses following service to the City. All are welcome to attend the ceremony outdoors at 353 Spring Street in Manhattan, where we will also unveil a plaque dedicated to their memory. Additionally, our Spring Street Salt Shed is illuminated with a visual tribute to all Department employees who worked at Ground Zero and Fresh Kills in the weeks and months following the attacks. The illuminated tribute, best viewed at night, is currently running and will continue until daybreak on Monday, Sept. 14.
