There are also plenty of situations where BOTH people consciously choose not to define the relationship and it works perfectly for them. Nobody is stringing anyone along. Nobody is being humiliated. There are valid reasons for it: relocation, long distance, family circumstances, life pressures, anxiety and more. Just because it doesn’t work for you doesn’t mean it’s inherently bad for everyone else. Relationships aren’t one-size-fits-all. Jsut use your brain and know what you want.
