They’re likely doing this because supply is in high demand and they want to prioritize their customers first, which they should. It’s hilarious to see people have a problem with this, as if every other company doesn’t prioritize themselves the same way. Imagine a brand-new owner being told by Tesla, “Sorry, we’re sold out of the Wall chargers because we gave those to other EV owners.” That makes no sense. If you want a Tesla charger, buy a Tesla. If not, go to Lowe’s or Best Buy and get one there.
