๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿšจ The logical fallacy that "Ireland needs migrants or our healthcare system would collapse" to justify mass uncontrolled immigration needs to be dismantled. Saying "our health sector needs migrants" ignores that migrant-driven population growth also creates much of the extra demand for healthcare. It only looks at one side of the equation. "Our health sector needs migrants" is a circular argument when migration is driving most population growth in Ireland. More people create more demand for the very services they're supposedly needed to staff. The fallacy behind "our health sector needs migrants" is ignoring demand. If migration drives population growth in Ireland, it also drives demand for healthcare. You can't justify mass migration by claiming we need more healthcare workers when mass migration is also increasing demand for healthcare. That's only half the equation.
