Pocketpair says Palworld has turned down a huge number of potential collaborations because they simply didn’t make sense for the game.
John “Bucky” Buckley, Pocketpair’s head of publishing and communications, explained that the studio has always followed a “fun-first approach” with crossovers.
“You guys simply do not realize the sheer number of collabs we’ve rejected or scrapped for that reason.”
According to Buckley, collaborations like Terraria and Valheim worked because they fit naturally with Palworld’s survival gameplay and overall tone.
