This is a Tiger Butterfly Sea Slug (Cyerce nigra), a striking species of sacoglossan sea slug known for its leaf-like cerata and bold striped patterns. Appearance: It features velvety black body tissues adorned with bright yellow-to-orange margins, brilliant fluorescent green or white highlights along the edges of its folded cerata, and scattered yellow spots. Classification: Though commonly called a nudibranch by divers, it belongs to a related group of sacoglossan sea slugs (family Hermaeidae) often referred to as sap-sucking slugs.
