I worked hard to be successful here and to contribute to this country. Then I became a proud U.S. citizen, and never stopped loving America with all my heart. This nation has welcomed and lifted up millions of legal immigrants for decades, offering opportunities that people in so many parts of the world can only dream about. Native-born Americans are truly the luckiest people on Earth — blessed with freedoms many have never even known.
