I was proud to support this legislation because hardworking Americans should not be forced to pay higher electric bills to power massive data centers. Data centers should pay for the electricity they use, period. It’s extremely frustrating that Senate Democrats are now blocking a bill that passed the House with such a strong display of bipartisanship. Apparently, lowering electric bills for their constituents isn’t a priority for Senate Democrats.
